On Saturday March 18, 2017 we covered Planters Fascitis. If you were like me (Susie), prior to suffering an attack of epic proportions, you have no idea how painful this can be. The pain came out of nowhere, and caused me to stop in my tracks. Only my right foot was affected, but there was enough pain to share with both feet. The pain is usually worse in the morning upon arising.
I don't think that I cured the problem, but I am definitely keeping it at bay. Here's what I did.
Curcumasorb - This is an excellent product from Pure Encapsulations. I took 6 per day in divided doses, on an empty stomach. Now that the pain is gone, I take 2 per day.
Exercise - While I was sitting, I stretched out my leg and my foot. I then retracted my foot towards my body. I just kept doing this for long periods of time, or until I had to get and and do some work.
Stockette - I purchased some compression stockings that extend from mid foot to about 4 inches above my ankle. I wear these every day, but take them off at night. They are definitely not a fashion statement, but I believe that these, in conjunction with the curcumasorb, did the trick.
